Terms of service

Last updated 7 September 2026

Who you are dealing with

TripWallet is operated by AMVEN Ltd, registered in England and Wales. These terms are between you and AMVEN Ltd, and English law applies to them.

What TripWallet is, and what it is not

TripWallet stores travel bookings you already have and makes them readable, including when you have no connection. We are not a travel agent. We do not sell flights, hotels or cruises, we are not party to any booking you make, and we cannot change or cancel one for you.

Passport rules, visa requirements and all-aboard times are shown to help you check them. They are not legal advice and they are not a guarantee. Requirements change, and the responsibility for meeting them is yours — always confirm with the airline, the cruise line or the relevant government.

Your account

You need to be 18 or over. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what people you have invited to a trip can see and do.

What you may not do

Do not upload anything unlawful, and do not upload other people's documents without their agreement. Do not attempt to reach data belonging to another account, and do not use the service to send anything abusive. We may suspend an account that does any of these, and we will tell you why.

Paid plans

Cruise costs £19.99 a year and renews automatically every year until you cancel. A single sailing costs £12.99 once and lasts 12 months — it does not renew and nothing is charged again.

Prices include VAT where it applies. If we change a price, the new one applies from your next renewal and never mid-term, and we will tell you before it takes effect.

Cancelling, and refunds

Cancel whenever you like, from Manage billing in your profile. You keep everything you have paid for until the end of the period you have already bought — cancelling does not cut you off that day, and we do not pro-rate a refund for the remainder.

About the fourteen-day cancellation right. Consumers buying a digital service normally have fourteen days to cancel for a refund. At checkout you are asked to agree that access begins immediately, and doing so ends that right — this is what lets the features appear the moment you pay rather than a fortnight later. You do not have to agree, but the purchase cannot complete without it.

None of this affects your legal rights if the service is faulty or is not as described. If something we sold you does not work, contact us and we will put it right or refund you.

Availability

We work hard to keep TripWallet running and offer no guaranteed uptime. Trips you have saved offline stay readable on your device when the service or your connection is unavailable, which is rather the point — but that depends on your device, and it is not a substitute for being able to reach your airline.

Your content

What you upload stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only so far as running the service requires — which includes sending a document you import to the AI service described in our privacy policy. We claim no other rights over it and we do not use it to train anything.

Our liability

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to limit.

Otherwise, and because this is a consumer service sold for a modest annual fee, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose. We are not liable for a missed flight, a missed sailing, or a refused boarding. Check your documents with the operator who issued them.

Ending it

Close your account whenever you want, and your data goes with it. We may end these terms if you break them, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice, a way to get your data out, and a refund of anything you have paid for a period you will not receive.

Complaints

Email hello@tripwallet.uk. We would much rather hear about a problem than have you discover it at an airport.
